In 1998, Johnston Locksmith started providing automotive lockout services for AAA Motor Club. Within two years, they were the only AAA locksmith service provider in Huntsville and Madison County, Alabama.

In 2007, AAA approached them about taking on the AAA Battery Service and other emergency roadside services such as tire changes and fuel deliveries. With this opportunity before them, the decision was made to focus the business toward automotive roadside assistance and to drop the residential and commercial work.

Lynn Johnston began in business in 1991 as NABS Security. He sold and installed security systems and locks and provided locksmith

services. By 1996, the locksmith part of the business had grown to such proportions that he quit selling and installing security systems and devoted all his time and effort to the locksmith business. He changed the name of the company to "Johnston Locksmith".

Johnston Locksmith serves Huntsville, Madison and all of Madison County, Alabama. They specialize in automotive lockouts, and lite emergency roadside service. They currently have three service vehicles on the road and may be adding another in the near future.

They are centrally located in north Huntsville and can service most of Madison County within 30-45 minutes. Although it's not always posible, they try to provide roadside service within 30 minutes. Their knowledgable locksmiths and technitians can usually have you going very quickly. .
